How to Watch Sacramento Republic vs. Tacoma Defiance

Can Sacramento keep unbeaten run going?

Sacramento Republic FC have booked their ticket to the 2020 USL Championship Playoffs, but they still have unfinished business in the regular season, with Sunday’s clash against Tacoma Defiance at Papa Murphy’s Park being the first of four games to wrap up the slate.

Sacramento’s winning streak was snapped in their last match, a 3-3 draw at home against Reno 1868 a week ago, but they are still on an eight-game unbeaten run at present. The postseason is clinched, but Mark Briggs will be looking to find his best lineup and for the players to be in peak form going into the playoffs.

Tacoma, meanwhile, are out of playoff contention officially, but they can still play spoilers, with Sacramento and Reno vying for 1st place in Group A. With Sacramento getting two matches against Tacoma in 10 days to close out the regular season, Republic FC will look for a tidy six points, but Defiance will likely have at least a few players playing for their careers, effectively, and I expect them to battle in this game.

Odds:

Our partners at DraftKings Sportsbook don’t have a line out for this game as of Saturday evening, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
