The best podcast covering Sacramento Republic FC and the USL Western Conference is back with another episode. This week the show returns to the KSSU studio.
First up is a retrospective of both the Sacramento Republic vs Real Monarchs game on Saturday and more all the other matches the two teams played this season. Be warned: the word “disappointed” features heavily here.
The second segment centers entirely around the suspension of Ivan Mirkovic, who collected his 8th yellow card of the season against the Monarchs. Particular points of discussion are how important Mirkovic is to the Republic and just what might be done to replace him. Coach Buckle himself gives some insight into that latter point.
After that is a little tidbit of information from Sacramento Republic training and an interview with defender James Kiffe, who gives a little bit of insight on how the change from Preki to Buckle has been for him personally.
Finally, the show turns to listener submitted questions and topics for discussion. The specific questions and topics used in the show were submitted by @folsomblue and @Mr_Zamoo.
