Last Saturday’s 1-0 loss to LA Galaxy II marked the end of Sacramento Republic’s playoff run and of their 2015 season. This week’s Beemans Republic takes a look at that final match and much more.
The first segment of the show is a second look at the Los Dos match, including a discussion about how the match was a sort of microcosm of the Republic’s entire 2015 season. We also hear the thoughts of Justin Braun and head coach Paul Buckle in two fantastic post-match interviews.
The second segment is both a look back at the team’s 2015 season in general, as well as a look forward at what it seems that they need to do for next season. A listener question from Nick Burr is answered in this segment.
The third and final portion of the show deals with one of the more interesting stories of the USL Playoffs so far: Orange County Blues essentially giving up their home field advantage to Los Dos. The topic was suggested by Iron Pony Chef.
