Beeman’s Republic: New Sacramento Republic FC Kit, Stadium News, and a Fun Listener Poll

Before we get this post underway, a quick announcement. Beeman’s Republic is back on iTunes! Click the link to go to the show’s new iTunes page and subscribe to have the show delivered to you every week right as it goes up.

With that quick announcement out of the way, this week’s show centers around two Sacramento Republic FC announcements in the past week. The first is that of the team’s brand new kit made by Nike and the second is of big developments in the proposed Republic MLS stadium.

The first segment includes a pre-recorded report from the kit reveal itself and other impressions about the event. It also features a fun poll question, which can be found below.

The second part of the show deals mostly with impressions and reactions - both positive and negative - of the kit itself. It’s not an official Beeman’s Republic Fashion Segment, but it could easily have been.

The discussion in the third and final portion of the show centers around the news surrounding the proposed Sacramento Republic FC MLS stadium. Not only did we learn important facts like the capacity (25,000!), but we also learned that we will see the final design when the plan is voted on by the city on December 1.

Hosted by Joshua Beeman, Managing Editor of Indomitable City Soccer, Beeman’s Republic is a weekly podcast recorded live on the air at KSSU.com, Sacramento State’s radio station. It covers soccer news from all over the Sacramento area as well as throughout the USL Western Conference.
