Steve Aibel/

A third of the season is in the books, so let's see where the Eastern Conference stands in our weekly Power Rankings. These rankings are accurate through Sunday's Toronto FC II v Wilmington match.

Important to note on the rankings: 1100 is considered an average club, with tiebreakers going to the club that has played more matches.

Read up on our system here, and its slight improvement here.

1 (Last Week- 1). Louisville City (1141)

Last Week: Won 2-0 vs Charleston on Saturday

This Week: @ Orlando City B (Sunday)

Louisville ended Charleston's home unbeaten streak in convincing fashion, and sit atop our rankings for another week.

T2 (2). New York Red Bulls II (1125)

The Baby Bulls have looked strong in recent weeks, winning three of their last four matches.

Looking to return to winning form, the Independence face lowly Toronto FC II on Saturday.

5 (3). Charleston (1110)

The first home loss in over two years sees the Battery take the biggest drop of the week.

6 (6). Rochester (1109)

This Week: @ FC Montreal (Saturday)

Rochester holds steady after a draw against Bethlehem this past week.

7 (7). Richmond (1101)

Last Week: Lost 2-1 vs FC Montreal on Saturday

This Week: @ FC Cincinnati (Saturday)

Losing to the rankings' bottom club sees Richmond drop rating points, and in danger of losing their top-half spot.

8 (10). Wilmington (1100)

Last Week: Won 3-1 vs Toronto FC II on Sunday

This Week: vs Harrisburg (Friday)

The Hammerheads move back to the average rating after an impressive win over Toronto FC II on Sunday.

9 (9). Bethlehem (1094)

Bethlehem will hope to redeem themselves when they face NYRBII Sunday, after losing by four goals in the previous match between the two clubs.

10 (8). Harrisburg (1093)

The City Islanders can rebound on Friday as they make the trip down to the Port City, which saw them score four goals in last season's match.

11 (12). Orlando City B (1084)

Last Week: Won 2-1 vs Charlotte on Saturday

This Week: vs Louisville City (Sunday)

With a critical match against rankings leader Louisville this week, can Orlando City B knock off another top-half club?

12 (11). Pittsburgh (1081)

Last Week: Lost 1-0 vs New York Red Bulls II on Saturday

This Week: vs Charleston (Saturday)

The Riverhounds return home for the first time in the Dave Brandt era, looking to turn around their recent bad fortunes on the pitch.

13 (13). Toronto FC II (1068)

Last Week: Lost 3-1 vs Wilmington on Sunday

This Week: @ Charlotte (Saturday)

TFC II has gone through a cold streak, losing their past four matches.

14 (14). FC Montreal (1066)

Last Week: Won 2-1 vs Richmond on Sunday

This Week: vs Rochester (Saturday)

After posting their first win of the year on Sunday, FC Montreal can move out of last place with a victory against the defending champions.

In this week's premier match, the rankings leader cemented their lead with a win over top five club, Charleston. Louisville  faces their former MLS affiliate's USL club this week.

FC Cincinnati moves to its highest rank this season after a solid victory over Harrisburg.

The gap between seventh and eighth quickly evaporated after Wilmington won on Sunday, who moved to only a point behind seventh-placed Richmond. Now, six points separate eighth and ninth place. Could this be start of the playoff picture?

Despite remaining in last place for another week, FC Montreal is eyeing a chance to jump their Canadian rival and move up this week.
