Sacramento Republic FC fell to Oklahoma City Energy FC at Papa Murphy’s Park on Saturday night, 1-3.

Despite increased efforts in the second half of the match, Sacramento Republic FC took a loss on Saturday night at Papa Murphy’s Park against Oklahoma City FC, 1-3.

Oklahoma’s No. 9 forward, Jose Angulo scored an early lead within the first minute of play, assisted by Jon Brown.

Brown went on in the ninth minute to extend the lead against Sacramento with a goal assisted by Angulo.

Oklahoma went on in the 89th minute to score the final goal of the evening by No. 10 forward, Miguel Gonzalez, assisted by No. 28 forward, Wojciech Wojcik.

Sacramento narrowed the gap with a goal by No. 23 defender, Emrah Klimenta, assisted by No. 15 defender, James Kiffe in the second half.

Sacramento will continue regular season play with its second-to-last home game against the Real Monarchs SLC on Wednesday 27 September at Papa Murphy’s Park.
