No stranger to international call ups, Klimenta and Hall once again to play for their national team.

The Sacramento Republic FC announced yesterday that defender Emrah Klimenta and midfielder Jeremy Hall have been called up by their respective national teams for upcoming international play.

Klimenta was called up to the Montenegro National Team for the upcoming Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Nations League matches. Montenegro plays October 11 against Serbia and October 14 versus Lithuania.

This marks the second time this year Klimenta has been called up to the Montenegro National Team. He appeared in both friendlies while with the Los Angeles Galaxy in March — coming on in the 46th minute versus Cyprus and in the 90th minute versus Turkey.

Midfielder Jeremy Hall also received a call up yesterday from the Puerto Rico National Team for the Concacaf Nations League qualifiers. Puerto Rico is set to play Martinique on Saturday, October 13. International call ups are not new for Hall either, although this is the first time he has been called up this year.

Both players will miss this weekend’s final United Soccer League (USL) regular season match at home against Las Vegas Lights FC, but will be back in time for the first round of the USL Playoffs on Saturday, October 20.

Congratulations to both Klimenta and Hall for their call ups. We wish them well and will report on how they perform while away.
