The United Soccer League (USL) announced today that Jeremy Hall has been named to the USL Team of the Week for week 22. The Republic captain scored the game-winning goal in the 67th minute on a well-executed set piece. Credit Keven Alemán with the assist.
In addition to notching his second goal on the season, Hall completed 44 of 50 passes, won four tackles and recorded two interceptions. Not a bad night’s work. But that’s really not a surprise to anyone right? Hall has quietly put up solid stats all season, while anchoring the middle of the field for the Quails.
He has been durable too, making 24 appearances (21 starts), and has logged 1952 minutes. Only Shannon Gomez (1998) and Cameron Iwasa (1963) have played more minutes.
How good has Hall been in your estimation? Sound off in the comments section below!
