Vote: Sacramento Republic Defender of the Year

We kick off ICS’ offseason awards with the ones who do the dirty work.

Sacramento Republic FC endured a 2020 season like no other.

They played, they stopped play, they had at least one player contract coronavirus during the shutdown, they started play again, they made the playoffs once more and then they got knocked out in heartbreaking fashion.

It may be hard to process the playoff exit, still, but let’s start to look back to the season that was for Sac Republic, and roll out the first of Indomitable City Soccer’s postseason awards.

First up, your turn to pick Sacramento Republic Defender of the Year.

Plenty of great choices here, with Mark Briggs using his full complement over the course of the season. Any player who played on the defensive line for the season is in the running for this award.

So, who gets your pick? A lot of good choices here, but we need your help.
