Check out Sacramento Republic’s activity kit

Stuff to keep your mind and body occupied during coronavirus shutdown.

Joe de Ocampo/Indomitable City Soccer

If you’re looking for something to do while the coronavirus shutdown is ongoing, one good tip is to check out what Sacramento Republic FC have put together for those sheltering in place.

The kit, on their website, includes soccer skills videos, as well as coloring pages, a word search, word scramble and crossword puzzle.

It’s pitched to the kids...

...but the grown-ups can do it all, too.

I think this is a great idea. As a parent, I’ve been lucky my kid is weathering this requirement to stay home to battle coronavirus, but we’re going to have to mix things up before long and offer some novel activities. And no joke, I could probably use this diversion at some point myself as well.

Anyway, you can download the paper activities on Sac Republic’s website, and the team keeps producing training and workout videos on their social media. Here’s the latest one, with Villyan Bijev.
