Sacramento Republic FC unveiled four dates in their upcoming 2021 USL Championship regular season campaign on Tuesday. With home openers spread across three separate months, Republic FC will be involved in four of those games across the Pacific Division.
Here’s the four dates we know so far:
- Friday, Apr. 30: at LA Galaxy II (Sacramento Republic’s season opener)
- Wednesday, May 12: vs. Las Vegas Lights (Sac Republic home opener)
- Saturday, May 22: at Orange County SC
- Saturday, June 19: at Oakland Roots SC
! April 30th & May 12th can't get here soon enough

Obviously, it’s possible they will have additional games on the schedule between the dates listed, they just weren’t included in this announcement because they weren’t home openers.
All of these games, including the May 12 home opener at Papa Murphy’s Park, are likely to include limited fans in attendance. Obviously, it’s possible the coronavirus pandemic could surge again, force the schedule to be changed and games to be played behind closed doors again, but all signs at the moment are pointing towards the season being played with some fans in attendance. Given Republic FC will be mostly playing California teams this year, they will all likely have similar capacities at games, again, depending on the status of the pandemic at the time a game takes place.
The rest of the schedule will be dropping at some point in the future, stay tuned on that. But now we have a handful of dates to put on our calendars. Finally, the season approaches!
