Beeman’s Republic is back after a fearsome battle with the beast known as “technical difficulties” stopped last week’s show from seeing the light of day. This week’s episode has been stuffed full of interesting content.
The first segment of the show is a look back at the Republic’s entertaining 3-3 draw with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks, specifically concentrating on breaking down key plays and pointing out what we can learn from the team’s performance.
The second segment delves into the story of David Estrada joining the Orange County Blues not even a week after leaving Sacramento Republic FC, including audio from both Estrada himself and OC coach Oliver Wyss.
The show’s third segment breaks down the Republic’s recent announcement of some changes with their staffing, specifically the change to the responsibilities of Paul Buckle, Graham Smith, and Chris Malenab. Buckle’s new additional responsibility as Technical Director and what it says about the trust the club puts in him is the main conversation topic.
Finally, the fourth segment of show consists entirely of listener questions and suggested topics. The two particular topics discussed are the increased prices for Sacramento Republic season tickets (from Matthew Webber) and just what can be done to turn the team around ahead of the playoffs (from Mattjf22).
