With Rochester Rhinos’s victory in the USL Championship, the season is finally over. And with the end of the USL season comes the annual USL Awards. Josh rings in the opening of the USL Award season by announcing his picks and pointing out two enormous snubs from the list of nominees.
While the season as a whole just ended, things have been in offseason mode in Sacramento for a while now. However, that does not mean there is a shortage of topics to discuss. This week Josh discusses the Republic’s new kit - being announced late next month - and the recent news of Cameron Iwasa and Joaquin Rivas returning for 2016. He also dons his fashion correspondent hat to answer an important question.
The new expansion franchise run by Sporting Kansas City is also briefly discussed, with a specific concentration on how it fits in with the overall trend of the MLS-USL partnership.
