Two weeks into the 2016 USL season and Sacramento is shaping up to look like one of the top defensive teams in the league. While the offense can still hit a second gear, the numbers back up the product that we have seen on the field. Without getting into too much rambling, we now go by the numbers again, looking back on the week that was and ahead to the week that will be.
474 - Consecutive shutout minutes by Sacramento Republic in regular season USL play
6 - Sacramento Republic's unbeaten streak against Arizona United.
2 - Teams in modern USL era that have won their first two matches of the season and failed to make playoffs.
270 - Minutes Sacramento had been held scoreless at Bonney Field before Cameron Iwasa's goal.
1 - Shots on goal allowed by Sacramento in the 2016 season so far.
13.8 - Minutes elapsed per shot on goal attempt by Sacramento's next opponent, Vancouver Whitecaps 2.
9 - Consecutive games played by Sacramento where they conceded less than two goals, spanning back to August of 2015.

0 - Goals scored from those corner kicks. There was almost one against Arizona, but that streak continues.
