Eastern Conference Power Rankings, Week 7

The Week 7 Power Rankings are back!

With week 7 complete, it's time for the weekly Power Rankings. These rankings are accurate through the May 10th contest between Wilmington Hammerheads and Charlotte Independence.

Important note about our rankings: 1100 is considered an average club, with tiebreakers going to the club who have played more matches.

1 (Last Week- 1). Louisville City (1125)

Last Week: Won 2-0 vs Toronto FC II on Wednesday

This Week: vs Saint Louis FC (Saturday)

Louisville sits atop our rankings for the second consecutive week. They face Western Conference foe Saint Louis in the season's first of two inter-conference matches.

2 (2). Charlotte (1117)

Last Week: Won 1-0 vs FC Montreal on Saturday

This Week: Draw 1-1 @ Wilmington on Tuesday, @ Rochester (Saturday)

Unbeaten through their last five, Charlotte holds the tiebreaker in second place.

2 (3). New York Red Bulls II (1117)

Last Week: Won 3-1 vs Pittsburgh on Saturday

This Week: vs Richmond (Saturday)

After being shutout at home, the Baby Bulls came back and notched a crucial road win over Pittsburgh.

4 (6). FC Cincinnati (1115)

Last Week: Won 3-1 @ Orlando City B on Wednesday, Draw 1-1 @ Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday

This Week: vs Pittsburgh (Saturday)

FC Cincinnati has chance to jump into the top 3 with a big win against Pittsburgh this week.

4 (3). Rochester (1115)

Last Week: Won 3-2 vs Charleston on Friday

This Week: vs Charlotte (Saturday)

With a crucial match against second place Charlotte ahead of them, the Rhinos are within striking distance of the top spots.

6 (5). Richmond (1107)

Last Week: Won 1-0 vs Wilmington on Saturday

This Week: @ Toronto FC II (Wednesday), @ New York Red Bulls II (Saturday)

With a solid victory over Wilmington last week, the Kickers have a chance to capitalize against the lowly Toronto FC II and the high flying New York Red Bulls II.

7 (7). Charleston (1107)

Last Week: Lost 3-2 @ Rochester on Friday

This Week: Won 3-2 @ Harrisburg on Monday, vs Toronto FC II (Saturday)

After beating Harrisburg on Monday, the Battery can move further up the rankings with a win over the declining Toronto FC II.

8 (8). Wilmington (1097)

Last Week: Lost 1-0 @ Richmond on Saturday

This Week: Draw 1-1 vs Charlotte on Tuesday

Wilmington played to a draw vs top club, Charlotte, but hold on to eighth place in the rankings.

9 (11). Bethlehem (1095)

Last Week: Draw 2-2 @ Orlando City B on Saturday

This Week: vs FC Montreal (Sunday)

Bethlehem moved up two spots this week and are eyeing the top half of the table.

10 (9). Toronto FC II (1091)

Last Week: Lost 2-0 vs Louisville City on Wednesday

This Week: Won 1-0 vs Richmond on Wednesday

TFCII halted their three match slide with a victory over top half club Richmond on Wednesday.

11 (9). Harrisburg (1089)

Last Week: Draw 1-1 vs FC Cincinnati on Saturday

This Week: Lost 3-2 vs Charleston on Monday

A loss this week against Charleston saw the City Islanders fall in this week's rankings.

12 (12). Pittsburgh (1085)

Last Week: Lost 3-1 vs New York Red Bulls II on Saturday

This Week: @ FC Cincinnati (Saturday)

The Riverhounds are still looking for their first win of the season after six matches.

13 (13). Orlando City B (1076)

Last Week: Lost 3-1 vs FC Cincinnati on Wednesday, Draw 2-2 vs Bethlehem on Saturday

This Week: Bye

Orlando City B can use this bye week to regroup and prepare for their match hosting the defending champs.

14 (14). FC Montreal (1070)

Last Week: Lost 1-0 @ Charlotte on Saturday

This Week: vs Bethlehem (Saturday)

A sixth straight loss sees the club from Quebec falling further in both the table and the rankings.


Louisville City hold onto the rankings lead for second consecutive week. The rest of the top three remain unchanged.

FC Cincinnati and Bethlehem make the biggest gains this week, both moving up two spots.

As the losses keep piling up, Toronto FC II keep sliding down in our rankings.
