Can you tell me a little about the history of the team?

The club was formed in 2008 and it's based in Bremerton, Washington. The club competes annually in the Northwest Division of the United Soccer League's Professional Developmental League (PDL).

Where does the team play their games?

Gordon Field in Bremerton, Washington.

How is your regular season coming along?

We are starting to get in gear.

What is your history in the USOC?

Best year was 2011 when we played Sounders in 3rd round.

Year Round Eliminated Opponent Score
2009 1st Round Portland Timbers 3-0
2010 2nd Round Portland Timbers 4-1
2011 3rd Round Seattle Sounders 2-1
2012 1st Round Cal FC 3-1
2013 Did not Qualify
2014 Did not Qualify
2015 2nd Round Seattle Sounders FC 2 4-2

Can you update us with the ineligible player issue you are having with the USOC?

It was a mistake where we asked the referee to take a player off the game roster and replace him as he injured himself in warm up, the referee neglected to do so.

Can you update us with the ineligible player issue you are having with the USOC?

We have a network of people who know who we are and send us players.

Can you name former Pumas players that have moved on to bigger stages?

A plethora of players have made the jump from the Pumas to various leagues, including Europe. Cameron Hepple was the first Pumas player to be sold to a top tier European club. Many a former player is signed to various NASL and USL clubs. Also, Bryan Meredith was signed by the Seattle Sounders of MLS. The name most familiar to the Republic folks should be none other than Mr. Joaquin Rivas, who played for the Pumas in 2014 and was quickly signed by Sacramento.

Can you tell me a little bit about your roster, who is the Captain, who is your leading scorer? Who should the Republic's fans watch closely?

Cory Keitz is our current Captain and scoring is spread out.

Is moving to the USL a short or long term goal?

Short if we can find local investors or one of our fans wins the Lotto.
