Republic By the Numbers: Setting Records

Last week's Republic game set another team record and two more are ready to fall. That and more inside this week's Repubic By the Numbers.

Records continue to fall for the Republic this season.  They have now set a club record for shutouts recorded in a season, and have the individual goal scoring and assists records ready to drop.  How many more records will fall this season?

11 -€” Shutouts recorded by the Republic this season, a club record.

10 - The previous Republic record for shutouts, set in 2015.

180 -€” Minutes that Republic has gone without allowing a goal.

11 -€” Goals scored by Cameron Iwasa this USL season, tied for fourth in the USL and for the Republic single season record.

5 -€” Thomas Stewart's rank among USL goal scorers in 2014 when he set the Republic single season goal scoring record, the previous best by a Republic player.

8 -€” Assists by Rodrigo Lopez in 2014, the current single season record by a Republic player

8 -€” Assists by Danny Barrera this season. He currently leads USL in assists and is tied for the single season Republic record.

25 -€” Total assists by Republic this season, tied for third in the USL

71.4 -€” Percent of goals scored by the Republic that have come from an assist, tied for fourth best in the league.

50 -€” Yellow cards received by the Republic this season, tied for third most in the USL.

168 -€” Minutes played per goal scored by the most efficient player on the Republic (90 minutes played minimum): Mackenzie Pridham.

49 -€” Minutes played per goal scored by the most efficient player on the Republic (no minimum minutes played): Wilson Kneeshaw.

How much longer until the single season goal scoring and assisting records belong solely to Iwasa and Barrera?  Would Pridham and Kneeshaw be as offensively efficient if given more playing time?
