Vote: Sacramento Republic Midfielder of the Year

Which guy in the center of the park was the standout?

Craig Mitchelldyer-Portland Timbers 2

Sacramento Republic FC had a stable of solid midfielders in 2020. There was experience, youth, some guys who were used to being 90-minute warriors, others who were comfortable coming off the bench, and they all played a role.

So now it’s time to vote for the top midfielder of the season for Sac Republic.

In terms of minutes played, Drew Skundrich lead the pack with 1,201, and he and Jaime Villarreal paced the midfield group with two goals apiece on the season. Rodrigo Lopez led in assists with three, good for second on the team overall. And Villarreal led the way in the defensive categories of blocks, tackles and interceptions among the midfield corps.
