Vote: Sacramento Republic Attacker of the Year

Which of the guys up top gets the nod?

Courtesy of Republic FC.

We’ve moved our way up the field for our positional group 2020 Sacramento Republic FC Player of the Year award, and now we move to the glamour end of the pitch, the attackers.

Combining strikers with wingers and attack-first midfield/forward/tweeners, this group encompasses them all. These are the guys counted on to score the goals, make the flash plays, and take the lion’s share of the attention.

For reference, Dariusz Formella led the team in scoring with eight goals on the season, Villyan Bijev second with four goals, and Cameron Iwasa with three. Kharlton Belmar paced the team in assists, with four. Everyone played major minutes, aside from late addition Frank Lopez, who got stuck in as well when he got his shot on the field in the final games of the campaign.

So, which attacker was tops in 2020? Vote now, don’t delay! Let’s make it count.
