Our polls may be done for the time being at Indomitable City Soccer (thanks again to all who voted!) but another Sacramento Republic FC player is in the running for an award, and he can only win if he gets the votes.
Midfielder Julian Chavez scored a dramatic and outstanding winning goal deep in stoppage time against Portland Timbers 2, and he’s in the Round of 16 for USL Championship 2020 Goal of the Year.
@Juju_Chavez's match winner vs T2 is up for @USLChampionship !

Vote at the USL Championship’s website, and there’s also a drawing for a $100 gift card from Select if you vote. Nice!
Honestly, this was a stellar goal. The moment itself was incredible, but his goal was extremely well-taken. Also, Chavez is 18! He’s got room to grow.
So if you want to see a Sac Republic play win Goal of the Year, head on over and cast your vote for JuJu now. The Round of 16 poll is open until Monday. Don’t wait!
