It appears that Montreal Impact's Didier Drogba, in an attempt to limit strain on a swollen left knee, will train with the Republic for several days, according to a club release. Now well documented, the striker's aversion to artificial turf is a limiting factor in his training with the MLS outfit, though it's unclear how Sacramento was selected as an alternative, especially with recent speculation placing Drogba's immediate future in Miami.
